Last Saturday marked a milestone for Tblaque as we hosted our inaugural Youngpreneurs Trade Fair and Skills Exhibition in collaboration with ECM Academy. The event showcased the remarkable talents of children aged 7 to 16, demonstrating their prowess in writing, arts, fashion, graphics design, programming, and more.
The atmosphere was electric as young entrepreneurs confidently presented their creations to an impressed audience. From published authors to budding fashion designers and innovative game developers, the diversity of skills on display was truly inspiring.
Notable figures in the industry, including renowned fashion stylist Joy Kelikume Oziomaaka and HR expert Edward Obi, graced the event with their presence, offering encouragement and support to our young talents.
Tblaque’s Director, Temitayo Alabi, expressed her enthusiasm:
“I have always had a passion for mentoring youngsters towards maximising their potentials, and it gives me great pleasure to see children expressing their creativity at this event in such a fascinating manner.”
The fair not only provided a platform for these young innovators to showcase their skills but also offered them real-world experience in marketing and selling their products and services. Visitors eagerly explored the booths, engaged with the young entrepreneurs, and made purchases, providing valuable encouragement and support.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to ECM Academy, Ruthrieston Community Centre Aberdeen, and all participants and visitors who made this event a resounding success. At Tblaque, we remain committed to nurturing young talent and look forward to continuing this initiative in the future.
Stay tuned for more exciting events and initiatives from Tblaque!
